Aadila Moola completed her BSc with majors in Physics and Applied Mathematics at UKZN-Westville in 2016. She is now pursuing BSc Honours Physics (NASSP) under the NASSP UKZN node. Her research project is in the field of Astrophysics and Cosmology

Angelique Cooke holds a BSc in Astronomy and Physics from UKZN. She is currently pursuing a BSc Honours in Physics under NASSP UKZN node. Her project title is 'Searching for Parity Violation in the Planck Data' under the supervision of Prof Kavilan Moodley.

She is interested in Astrophysics, more specifically the Dawn of the Universe. She is also open to growing her knowledge in Space Science.

Abu-Bakr Essop holds a BSc in Pure Mathematics and Physics, his alma mater being the UKZN- Pietermaritzburg Campus.Currently he is pursuing BSc Honours Physics (NASSP) at UKZN-Westville, with research interests in the modelling and forecasting of Geomagnetically Induced Currents and their effects on the terrestrial environment and infrastructure under the supervision of Dr Stefan Lotz from the South African National Space Agency.

Annarien Bester completed her BSc degree (2017) with Astronomy and Physics as her majors, at UKZN. She is currently pursuing her BSc Honours in Physics under NASSP at the UKZN node. Her honours research project is in space science and the title of her project is ” The Study of Geomagnetic Field Secular Variation in South Africa between 2005 and 2016 using Ground-based Data recorded at Hermanus and Hartebeesthoek Magnetic Observatories”. Her supervisors are Mr Emmanuel Nahayo (SANSA) and Dr Zolile Mtumela (UKZN).  Annarien is interested in Astrophysics, but at the same time wants to expand her knowledge in Space Science. She is interested in doing observational research and being able to work and solve problems on site at telescopes.

Austine Acro Gumba from Kenya holds a Btech degree in Electronic Engineering from Durban University of Technology. He is currently pursuing BSc Honours Physics (NASSP) under the NASSP UKZN node. His research project is on Integration and Characterisation of HIRAX Receivers under the supervision of Dr Cynthia Chiang. His interest is to do Data analysis.

Aviwe Mchithakali completed his BSc degree in Applied Mathematics and Physics from the University of Fort Hare. He is currently pursuing his BSc Honours in Physics (NASSP) under the UKZN node. His project title is 'Study of TRINNI events' under the supervision of Dr Zolile Mtumela

Ayasanda Ncipha holds BSc degree in Physics and Mathematics from University of Fort Hare. He is currently pursuing an Honours degree under NASSP UKZN node. His project title is 'Low Earth Orbit Space Debris-Source, Tracking, Removal' under the supervision of Dr. Paulene Govender. 

Bernard Mmame from Malawi holds a BSc in Physics and Maths from University of Malawi. He is currently pursuing a honours degree under the NASSP UKZN node. He is working on the SuperDARN Convection Map Interpretation using The Online Tsyganenko Model as his research project under the supervision of Dr Judy Stephenson. His research interest is to study the magnetic reconnection due to the interaction of the charged particles from the solar wind and the Earth's magnetic field

Chaka Mofokeng holds a BSc in Astrophysics and Physics from University of the Free State. He is currently pursuing BSc Honours Physics (NASSP) under the NASSP UKZN node. His current research project is Machine Learning in Multi-Wavelength Galaxy/AGN Evolution. His future interest is to do research in Astroinformatics and Astrostatistics, focusing on Machine Learning. 

Damien Cole Ragavan holds a BSc degree in Applied Mathematics and Physics from UKZN. He is currently pursuing an Honours degree under NASSP UKZN node.

Dlamini Mbali holds a BSc in Mathematics and Physics from the  University of Zululand. She is now pursuing BSc Honours in Physics under NASSP at UKZN node. Her research project is the "Study the Relationship between Substorm and Geomagnetic Storm Events" under the supervision of Dr Zolile Mtumela(UKZN) and Dr Rendani Nndanganeni(SANSA). Her future interest is to do space weather based research.

Harmeshan Gounden currently holds a BSc degree in Applied Mathematics and Physics. He is currently pursuing an  honours degree under NASSP UKZN node. His project title is 'Investigation of Pc5 ULF Oscillations during quiet geomagnetic conditions' under the supervision of Dr. Zolile Mtumela.

Isibabale Qhoboshiyane completed his undergraduate qualification at the University of Fort Hare. He is currently pursuing his Honours degree in Astrophysics under NASSP under the UKZN node.

Johannes Mphaka holds BSc degree in Physics and Chemistry from the University of Limpopo. He is currently pursuing a honours degree under NASSP UKZN Node. His research is on Investigating the Coma Cluster of Galaxies using Virtual Observatory Tools under the supervision of Khadija EL Bouchefry. His research interest is both in the field of astrophysics and space science.

Kathleen Sellick holds a BSc with majors in applied Maths and Physics from UKZN Westville. She is currently pursuing BSc Honours Physics (NASSP) under the NASSP UKZN node. Her research project is Hunting for exoplanets with Kepler under the supervision of Dr Matt Hilton. Her research interest is in Astrophysics and Cosmology.

Lutho Sola holds a BSc in Computer Sciences and Physics. He is currently pursuing an honours degree in space sciences and astrophysics under NASSP UKZN node. His project title is 'Searching for brown dwarfs using the Virtual Observatory tools' under the Supervision of Dr Khadija. 

He is interested in accumulating more computational and analysis skill set and apply machine learning algorithms on my work.

Manika Mala Moodliar is pursuing BSc Honours Physics (NASSP) under the NASSP UKZN node. Her research project is A Radio Survey of ACT Galaxy Clusters under the supervision of Dr Kenda Knowles and Prof Kavilan Moodley.

Michael Hlongwane holds a BSc degree in Applied mathematics and Physics from University of Zululand. He is currently pursuing an honours degree under the NASSP UKZN node. Michael is interested in cosmology.

Moinudeen Mohamed holds a BSc in Physics and Applied Maths from UKZN. He is currently pursuing a honours degree under the NASSP UKZN node. His research project is " Using Chandra to study a merging galaxy cluster under the supervision of Dr Matt Hilton. He is interested in Relativity and Cosmology.

Mpho Mpongoshe holds a BSc degree in Physics and Geology from the University of Fort Hare. He is currently pursuing an honours in Astrophysics in NASSP UKZN node. 

Mziyanda Mngqibisa obtained his BSc Physical Science degree at the University of Western Cape. He is currently pursuing a BSc Honours degree in Physics under NASSP at UKZN node. His research project is “Exploring Cosmic Constraints with HIRAX and the CMB” under the supervision of Prof Jonathan Sievers and Dr Devin Crichton. His interest is to explore the cross correlation between the CMB and the 21 cm emission line. 

Nomathemba  Khumalo holds a BSc degree in Physics and Computer Sciences from the university of Zululand. She is currently pursuing an honours degree under NASSP UKZN node. She is interested in Astrophysics, Cosmology and space science.  

Nivek Ghazi is pursuing BSc Honours Physics (NASSP) under the NASSP UKZN node. His research project is Cosmology with Redshifter 21cm observations under the supervision of Dr Cynthia Chiang.

Njabulo Mbanjwa holds a BSc in Applied Mathematics and Physics at UKZN-Pietermarizburg. He is currently pursuing BSc Honours Physics (NASSP) under the NASSP UKZN node. He is working on an investigation of the presence of Pc5oscillations during TRINNI events as his research project under the supervision of Dr Zolile Mtumela and Dr Judy Stephenson as co-supervisor. His interest is to do research in Space weather.

Nondumiso Khumalo completed her BSc degree in Applied Mathematics and Physics at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. She is currently pursuing her Honours degree in Physics under NASSP at the UKZN node. Her honours project is the "Cross Correlation between the Sunyaev-Zeldovich Effect with the Peculiar Velocity Field" under the supervision of Prof Yin-Zhe Ma. She is interested in studying the CMB and how these ripples trace back to the beginning of the Universe. She is also interested to expand her knowledge beyond astrophysics in learning more about Space Science

Phakamile Sosibo holds a BSc Computer Science and Physics from the University of Zululand. She is currently pursuing an honours degree under NASSP UKZN node.

Praisegod Ndlovu holds a BSc in Applied Mathematics and Physics at UKZN . He is currently pursuing an honours degree in Physics under NASSP UKZN node.
His research project is "A Radio Survey of ACT Galaxy Clusters" under the supervision of Prof Kavilan Moodley and Dr Kenda Knowles.

Sakhile Marcus Zungu completed his BSc Computer Science and Physics degree at the University of Zululand. He is currently pursuing a BSc Honours in Physics under NASSP at the University of KwaZulu Natal. His interests are in Astrophysics, Space Science, Cosmology and Scientific Computing. He would like to learn more about his interests and most especially extensively learn about the applications of computing in astrophysical research and what innovations breed from that.  

Salma Khan is pursuing BSc Honours Physics (NASSP) under the NASSP UKZN node. Her research project is on Mesospheric Temperature Inversions under the supervision of Prof Sivakumar Venkataraman.

Sandisiwe Bangani completed his undergraduate qualification at the University of Fort Hare. He is currently pursuing his Honours degree under NASSP under the UKZN node.

Sanele Lionel Khanyile from UKZN-Pietermaritzburg joined NASSP in 2016 under the Post Graduate Bridging Program (UCT). He is now enrolled in the NASSP Honours Program at the UKZN node. His current research project is Interpolation of Surface Impendance for GIC Calculation under the supervision of Dr Pierre Cilliers from SANSA and co-supervision of Dr Zolile Mtumela from UKZN. 

Simon Pendapala Mulokoshi is a Bachelor of Science degree holder under the UKZN NASSP node. He obtained a BSc honours degree (Physics and Geology) from the University of Namibia. His current research project is about Studying the Shape of Dark Matter Halo with Kinetic Sunyaev-Zeldovich Effect under the supervision of Dr Yinzhe Ma. His future interest is to do research in the field of Astrophysics and to do extensive study and research on the Shape of Dark Matter Halo with Kinetic Sunyaev-Zeldovich Effect.

Sphelele Ncibilika holds a BSc in Chemistry, Applied Mathematics and Physics from UKZN. He is currently studying an Honours Degree under NASSP UKZN node. His project title is 'Investigation into correlation between SuperDARN (Cross Polar Cap Potential) and the PC Index' under the supervision of Dr Judy Stephenson. 

He is interested in Space Science but at the same time I want to expand my knowledge in Astrophysics.

Tankiso H Moso obtained her BTech Degree in Electronic Engineering from the Durban University of Technology. She is currently pursuing her BSc Honours Physics (NASSP) under the UKZN node. Her research project is on HIRAX Instrumentation and Prototype Characterisation, under the supervision of Dr Cynthia Chiang. She is interested in the instrumentation side of things and would love to gain more knowledge in Python programming and data analysis. 

Tashvir Sithapersad holds a BSc degree in Physics and Astronomy which was done at UKZN and is currently pursuing a BSc Honours in Physics under NASSP at the UKZN node. His interests are mostly in Astrophysics and planetary science, he would also like to expand my knowledge in the area of space science.

Terricia Govender is pursuing BSc Honours Physics (NASSP) under the NASSP UKZN node. Her research project is on General Relativity under the supervision of Dr Rituparno Goswami.
